Our small family of four adults took a walking trip with On Foot Holidays through the Robiera Sacra in Galicia, Spain. We stayed in wonderful locally run accommodations and one parador along the way. The scenery was spectacular, and we hardly saw a soul while on our daily walks.

This is our fifth trip with On Foot Holidays. We love their ability to find special places to hike and the way in which they allow us to individualize it to fit our interests. The guides and GPS they provide are excellent and very helpful. They are easy to contact and their response time to questions is quite amazing.

On Foot holidays organised a 9 day walking tour of the Ribera Sacra region in Spain. The trip worked through the wine region, the river Sil, local wineries, monastariess and a Palacio, finishing in Ourense.

On Foot were very organised and kept us informed of everything we need to know. They were supported by a local operator who was always contactable and very knowledgeable about the route. Their walking app was also fabulous and leaves everything else we have used, including All Trails, for dead. The app gave us detailed notes, warnings when we were off trail, and information about local landmarks and restaurants. Also very impressed with the post-trip follow up and the attention to detail in that survey (e..g surveying each individual accommodation directly).

A self guided walk through a little visited part of Spain. It was a very beautiful hike through wooded paths, vineyards and alongside Gorges with stunning views and virtually no other travellers. The food was exceptional throughout the trip and the locals very friendly and helpful.

Great communication throughout the process and everything on the trip proceeded like clockwork. The hike instructions were very easy to follow and knew there was local support if required.

A hike through ancient sweet-chestnut woodlands full of birdsong, vineyards, abandoned villages and monasteries, donkey-tracks, wildflowers and butterflies. We stayed in places ranging from village guesthouses to paradors and met people ranging from a shepherd to a winemaker. A wonderful experience all round.

We booked a walking holiday for 7 people over 8 days walking from Castr0 Caldelas to Ourense a total of a little over 70 miles.

On foot holidays were a delight to work with, prompt in replying to any emails and accommodating when oneof our party dropped out. The accommodation they booked was first class, the walking notes and app excellent (we didn't get lost or confused). Their person on the ground couldn't have been better, always answering our whatsapps promptly, arranging taxis where necessary, and thinking ahead for us in terms of booking places to eat.

We were first time organised hikers from Australia who decided that a nine day walk in Northern Spain would be our next adventure. What an amazing experience it was. Rain nearly every day, only meeting four other hikers along the route, not speaking the language but making some cherished memories along the way. We challenged ourselves and felt proud of our achievements.

On Foot were just the right balance of professional, yet friendly and personable from the very first email. Their communication was excellent and we always felt supported along the way.

We loved pretty much everything about this holiday. On Foot provided an excellent service through the booking process and their guide, Aznar, could not have been more helpful. The walking itself was wonderful - peaceful days walking through gorgeous river gorges, vineyards, lovely chestnut and oak woods and atmospheric villages. We hardly saw another walker all week. For the most part the only sound was birdsong and we managed to identify almost forty different birds! The wild flowers everywhere only added to the experience. We stayed in lovely accommodation each night and were sorry to have to end the trip!
