I just returned from Mallorca which was absolutely stunning. The walks were gorgeous and just right. Most often I took the shorter and easier option and never felt as if I missed out on anything. The accommodations were perfect. The food was delicious! I followed OFH's 'Where to Dine Out 'guide and was never let astray.

OFH's new App worked seamlessly and had a lot of extra detail with pictures to boot. As a solo walker it is tremendously comforting to have such a well designed App as well as hard copy materials for easier perusal. This is my third walk with OFH and they all have been excellent. The level of detail, support and information is exceptional. The walks are carefully thought out and the accomodations could not have been better.

Self-guided hiking in the Tramuntana moutains in Mallorca along the GR221. Stunning scenery, with the joy of lovely hotels chosen by On Foot each evening. Comprehensive travel pack provided, with maps and route notes, as well as advice on where to eat. Luggage and people transfers went smoothly

Great to talk to people who had hiked the route themselves. Felt that they were genuinely invested in making sure the holiday was right. Email communications were good, and reponses prompt. Local contact available in Mallorca for any issues - there were none.

A week's tailor made walking in Mallorca with luggage transfer for 2 people.

Incredibly responsive, knowledgeable, honest and helpful. The support from them was extremely good, and the materials we were supplied for the walk were brilliant. The hotels were charming, there were no problems or hiccups and the itinerary was perfect for our needs.

A lovely week of self-guided walking through the Serra de Tramuntana, staying at unique hotels en route enjoying local food and wine, while our luggage was taken care of every day. Everything ran like clockwork.

On Foot Holidays

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our self guided walking holiday in Mallorca. The walk was generally quite easy with a few moderate sections. We loved the scenery, the hotels and the food.

On Foot provided detailed walking notes and background information. They were very helpful and responsive to any questions we had.

I’ve used several other companies for walking holidays but cannot over state how thorough on foot where in their prep to get us ready, and the standard of support, walking guides, and hotels was impressive

We had a wonderful trip. The mountains are beautiful, and gave us 7 wonderful days of walking. The lengths of the days were varied, with options for shorter days or taxing full days depending on how you felt. Route notes were excellent and we were also recommended an app to ensure we stayed on track. Accommodation and transport was good.

Very proactive in sending information. Also responded very quickly to questions. Provided detailed walking notes and local support if required.

We loved the towns, scenery and the food in Mallorca. On our one day in Palma, at the suggestion of the hotel staff, we attended the regional food fair that was going on at a nearby park. What a treat. We had a chance to sample a number of delicious local specialties. My favourite was the 'black paella'. This was a once a year event that was held over several days. When the storm blew in and weren't permitted to walk due to safety concerns, we suited up and explored the towns. In Soller, Jardins d'Alfàbia was closed to the power outage, but we did get to visit the Botanitcal garden which was lovely, well worth the visit. So despite not being able to actually do the trekking due to the Juliette storm, we had a good holiday. So a rating of good rather than excellent due to the weather.

Our self guided trekking tour was very well organized with great documentation and support. We particularly enjoyed the detailed background information on Mallorca. All the hotels used by the tour operator were unique and well run. Any queries by email were promptly responded to. Special requests attended to. The nicest tour group I have ever booked a trip with. So despite the named storm disrupting our holiday, we would love to go back, and make a 2nd attempt at the OnFoot trekking holiday in Mallorca.
