Rating for tour operator:

A small British company specialising in historical, cultural and artistic tours. Co-owned and on this tour led by someone steeped in the history and culture of the region and with an ease of delivery that made the knowledge immediately accessible. Individuals’ needs are paramount for the company, both before and on the tour and they willingly, for example, arrange pre-tour airport accommodation and car parking.

Non stop visual, intellectual and gastronomic stimulation within a coherent theme

Very well organised, coherent itinerary with careful choice of visits and sequence which reinforced the theme of Romans/Christians/Moors in Andalucía. Excellent choice of hotels and restaurants which complemented the richness of the cultural experience. A much more varied experience of this part of Spain than most itineraries offer.

An excellent tour of discovery of Romans. Christians and Moors in Andalucia Spain.

We were based in three cities - Cordoba, Seville and Granada - and visited many interesting Roman sites as well as wonderful cathedrals and Moorish palaces and Mosques. We stayed in comfortable 4 star hotels in the old quarters of the cities, and had wonderful food at a variety of restaurants. An exciting tour.

I have travelled several times with Ciceroni Travel and have always found them informative, interesting and great fun with nice people and great food and wine. The groups are never too large and so enable everyone to get to know each other. The tours cover a wide range of countries and many different subjects, all with a very knowlegeable guide and leader.
