We came from Canada to hike the Great Glen Way. It did not disappoint!

Wilderness Scotland was excellent to work with. I appreciated the simplicity of their website and when I did make contact, they were prompt in replying and answering my questions, even with an 8-hour time difference. I would not have felt confident planning this trip on my own and I was really grateful for their expertise. All of the bookings they made for us were great, from the accommodations to the luggage transport.

We had an excellent holiday walking the Great Glen Way. There were definitely long days, but we felt prepared with all the information and planning that was done for us ahead of time. The entire trip/hike exceeded expectations-- from the accommodation choices and local recommendations, to the detailed trail instructions, to the luggage transfer-- everything felt so easy and relaxing the whole time. We just had to walk from one town to the next, and enjoy our days and stays.

Our booking through Wilderness Scotland was the best choice we could've possibly made to have a fun and well-planned hiking adventure. Their agent, Emily Schaschke, was available to answer questions, thorough in explanation, and clear on steps and what to expect. The accommodations were great, and I can't imagine having to book all that on my own, so it feels like money well-spent to leave the details to those who know the region best.

We had an excellent experience all round. The trek was memorable. Accommodations, food, and drink were all up to our standards.

It was great, we had a chance to hike the Great Glen Way and see great views. We like hiking but without a tent and having nice dinners, we had great accommodations and the food was so great!! The highlights were the people we met on the trails .

It was my dream for a long time to walk in Scotland, and I am so happy that the dream came true. I loved every aspect of the trip.

The tour operator did a wonderful job preparing us for the trip, which has made our trip proceed smoothly. We will highly commend the company to friends.

Everything was great. The company provided information for the hike and getting to our lodgings. All the places we stayed were wonderful and the food was great. The Scottish Highlands are so beautiful!

Wilderness Scotland worked with us so we were able to still do our hike even after it was postponed by Covid for 2 years. They were so helpful.

Ours was the self guided Great Glen Way Walk. The accommodations were perfect, clean rooms, wonderful breakfasts, and very friendly hosts.

We decided to use Wilderness Scotland after approaching several tour companies. They were quick to return emails and gave very detailed answers to our many questions. The tour packet included clear and concise directions on getting to our accommodations as well as explanations of the accommodations. The book we received was very good in describing the walking path and what to expect each day. We felt very prepared for our self guided tour along the Great Glen. The accommodations Wilderness chose for us were perfect for our needs. Good locations, easy to find. The hosts were very friendly and helpful as well. Can’t wait for our next walk!
