Reviews of Road Cycling - Outer Hebrides

Cycling tour of the Outer Hebrides
The trip was a wonderful introduction to the islands of Scotland. It was challenging, interesting, and packed full of beautiful views and kind people. I enjoyed how the terrain changed and how each island differed from the other.

Hebridean Way cycle route- self guided with excellent support
Contrasting scenery between the various islands in beautiful weather with the challenge of the cycle. Accommodation and food were all very acceptable.

Wilderness know what they are doing. Their sub contracted guide Neil was excellent.

Wet, windy but still wonderful
The Outer Hebrides is a special place and a great place to cycle. Even though the weather was harsh at times, logistics and excellent and knowledgeable guides , and a small group, made this an excellent place to have a break from everyday life

Wilderness Scotland Biking in the Outer Hebrides
We had an exceptional biking adventure in the Outer Hebrides with Wilderness Scotland. The islands were beautiful, the biking challenging but do-able, the hotels well-located. We had excellent weather for most of the trip, and on the few days when rain/wind intervened, the guides adapted our plans smoothly and professionally.

Hebridean cycle challenge for charity
215mls with sightseeing. Weather was kind, few showers in first week in October. No big downpours except when ride had finished. Magnificent scenery.

Cycling the Outer Hebrides: Wind, Rain, Rainbows, Super Company and Stunning Scenery
The weather might have been better but we still had a magic time, inspired and very well looked after by our enthusiastic and dedicated guides, who clearly wanted nothing more than to share their love of the place with us.

Well thought out itinerary and anticipation of our needs to make it enjoyable, but also with flexibility to take challenges of cancelled ferries and kitchen gas supply failures in their stride

You'd never guess this is Scotland!
Cycling through the Outer Hebrides was all in all, a fantastic experience - and having toured with Wilderness Scotland made it even more pleasurable.
