Walking and Whales on the Azores

Walking and Whales on the Azores Overview

The Azores, set far out in the Atlantic Ocean, offer excellent walking, whale and dolphin watching, delicious seafood and the pleasures of island-hopping. We visit two islands of this Portuguese archipelago during a 9-day tour, which runs 18 – 26 May 2021 with a maximum of 14 pax and costs from £ 2651 pp.

The islands enjoy a peaceful, slow-paced way of life that guarantees a relaxing holiday for visitors interested in exploring Europe’s quieter corners. We walk on two different islands, all with spectacular views and fascinating flora and geology; take 2 whale and dolphin watching trips (Azorean waters are renowned as a cetacean hotspot); visit botanical gardens, volcanic landscapes and interesting small museums; and enjoy excellent local wines and seafood while based in two very comfortable (4 star) hotels.
