Namibia Desert, Etosha and Capri

Namibia Desert, Etosha and Capri Overview

A Namibian safari including the wildlife haven of Etosha, Caprivi and the stunning Namibia Desert

We start our amazing Southern African adventure holiday at one of the world’s largest and most majestic of all waterfalls - Victoria Falls on the Zambezi River. From this thunderous beginning we travel west into the wilderness of Namibia's Caprivi Strip, cutting through Angola and Botswana, famous for its migrating elephants and habitat for the Wild Africa Dog. Our next stop is the vast, wildlife rich pans of Etosha National Park. Where the waterholes bustle with African big game we are sure to get our first glimpse of big cats, dusty elephants and plain game such as antelope and giraffe. Moving deeper into Namibia we visit Swakopmund, the stunning sand dunes at Sossusvlei and desert camping under the incredible African skies. With two nights in the Namib Desert to appreciate its beauty we continue to our final stop in the chilled out capital city of Windhoek. Having possible seen the big five and some of the best of these incredibly wondrous and diverse countries in the southern hemisphere. If you like this holiday but you would prefer not to camp then please refer to our Namibia Desert, Etosha and Caprivi Lodge Safari.  This itinerary is the first section of the longer Great Southern African Camping Safari, which is 21 days and continues on through Botswana and back to Livingstone. We also offer a lodge version of the 21 day Great Southern African (lodge) Safari.
