We arrived at Imlil a beautiful village in the Atlas Mountains, and walked to our accommodation while our luggage was transferred by mule. Our accommodation at the Kasbah du Toubkal and also at the Remote Trekking Lodge met or exceeded our expectations. From the warm greeting we got from the reception staff when we arrived, the helpful and courteous staff who looked after us, delicious food, ambiance and spectacular scenery at both locations. Our excellent guide was Abdul Latif, and he could not have done anything more to make our time trekking in the Atlas Mountains more enjoyable. He was knowledgeable and experienced, spoke perfect English and we learnt so much about the area and the culture from him. Each day was a new adventure and we enjoyed every moment of it.

From transfers to and from Marrakech, accommodation at the Kasbah due Toubkal and Remote Trekking Lodge, and the experienced guide we had for five days., It was all planned so well it made the trip relaxing and stress free. .

My holiday was hiking in the Atlas mountains staying at Kasbah du Toubkal and their remote trekking lodge. They organized everything perfectly and my guide, Houssain, was fabulous. The food, lodging, and onsite hammam were great. All the staff worked to make sure your holiday was perfect, which is was. I would highly recommend them.

We did a 5 day hike in Atlas Mountains and loved it. Apart from the spectacular scenery, our guide Hussein was terrific. The lunchtime picnics on the mountains with cooling mint tea and delicious food was a fabulous surprise. Kasbah and lodge very comfortable and staff friendly and accommodating. Seamless, positive experience

From the moment we arrived in Marrakech everything was planned out for us. Hiking in the Atlas Mountains with our guide Omar was an unforgettable experience. All the meals were abundant and most importantly, delicious! Our room was well situated and provided all of the comforts needed for our stay.

Our guide, Omar, was engaging, thoughtful, and well informed. We couldn't have imagined a better operator.

The tour operators were very responsible and responsive. We had to delay our trip due to an earthquake and they were very helpful and considerate in replanning and rescheduling.

We had hoped to trek last fall, but had to postpone because of the earthquake, so our trip this September was long-anticipated. Everything about our experience was magnificent--the dramatic scenery of the High Atlas Mountains, the treks through the villages, every single staff person at both the Kasbah and the trekking lodge in Azzaden, and the amazing guide, Abdul, cooks, Mohammed and Mohammed, and muleteer, Yousef. The Kasbah is beautiful and gracious, and as a novice trekker, I particularly appreciated the kindness of all in shaping our trek so that I could fully participate, including choosing a route where I'd be able to ride the mule if steepness was too much. I'll be remembering this trip always with gratitude and awe.

We appreciated the social consciousness of the Kasbah and its owners, particularly their NGO, Education for All, which works to advance life for the Berber/ Amazich people through educating girls in secondary and advanced institutions.

Everything about our time at Dar Imlil and the Azzaden Lodge was exceptional. Our corner room at the Dar Imlil was gorgeous and we had marvellous views from both balconies. The food at Dar Imlil was excellent and the cook had no problem meeting our needs as vegetarians. The same was true at the Azzaden Lodge. The staff at both locations made us feel as if we were a part of there family. We can’t say enough about our mountain guide Abdul. It was a joy to be with him and his selection of trekking routes was superb. We would highly recommend Abdul as a guide for anyone thinking about trekking in the High Atlas.

From our first contact to our last the tour operator was phenomenal. The information that was provided was very clear and all of our questions were answered quickly.
