Wonderful and varied experience of Japan

“Hidden Japan” is a really well-designed experience that brought us to a wide variety of places, from cities to towns to mountain top temples. Accommodations were a mix of Western and Japanese and always comfortable; meals included elegant multi-course kaiseki feasts and more boisterous casual meals (yakitori, okonomiyaki, etc.); and we were educated, entertained and well-taken-care-of by our excellent tour guide.

A great time in Japan

I went to Japan with InsideJapan for the second time. This time, I spent much of time time on Shikoku island, visiting more out of the way places then the standard Toyko, Kyoto, ect.

I had a wonderful time and the tour guide was excellent. On the ground, the guide took good care of the 10 of us in the group, and I don't think we every lost track of any member. We didn't have a single hiccup in travel, and the guide was very enjoyable to be around. On the organization side, the coordinator I worked with when scheduling the vacation was great to get talk to.

Travel was by all means of public transport and private bus which was really enjoyable to do. Included meals were mainly local Japanese cuisine and the extra meals / evenings out to our tour leader Richards favourite establishments were also excellent. Accommodation at all our locations was excellent from the temple lodgings on Mount Koya to the western style hotels in many cities. Activities included were excellent and varied. The included airport transfers worked really well both ways.

Inside Japan Tours provide excellent service from first enquiry through to the after tour feedback. The service before and after from my travel consultant Mark was excellent, always ready to ensure everything went well. Would definitely recommend them to any one wanting to go to Japan and really experience the country at its best and will use them again in the future.
