We did a walking holiday along the Amalfi coast.

On Foot Holidays were excellent. Great communication and the holiday was brilliant. The whole booking process was great and they responded very quickly.

We started our self-guided walk in Amalfi. We were soon out of the hustle and bustle of Amalfi tourists, on the loop walks in the area, including the Ravello loop, Valley of the Mills, Torre dello Ziro and Valle delle Ferriere. They are reasonable arduous walks with thousands of steps however, you are rewarded with magnificent vistas of the Amalfi/Atrani coastline, and no tourists! Subsequent days of the walk provides for stunning coastline and hilltop views in Praiano, Positano and Sant Agata. All restful overnight stops provides great accommodation and a chance to sample the fine local cuisine. The 2 night stop in Sant Agata is so worth the time to explore a little of the Sorrento peninsular. The whole 9-night walk holiday was stunning and we were so well looked after by the hotel hosts. Our luggage arrived at each stop-over and all arrangements happened seamlessly.

As above, all tour/walk arrangements happened without fuss or confusion. Hotel accommodation, breakfasts, luggage transfers all occurred without issues. Our holiday arrangements prior to the trip were handled professionally and very well, even though we had basically cancelled the trip (due to the Iran conflict), then re-booked it all within a month of commencement.

We spent 7 days walking from Amalfi to Sorrento staying in Praiano, Positano and Sant Agata along the way. The walking was tough but beautiful, the towns picturesque and the food and drink delicious.

On Foot holidays organised all hotels and baggage transfer and provided detailed instructions and maps for the walks. They are friendly and knowledgeable and extremely prompt to respond to all communications.

Arrival by foot ferry (Salerno-Amalfi) during a perfect Mediterranean sunset is quite a way to commence a trip. Despite never being far from civilisation there are parts of this route that feel unexpectedly remote. The ascent from Positano to the high point of Monte Comune with its extensive views is not to be missed. Apart from the honey-pot 'Path of the Gods' we saw virtually no-ne on the route (first week November). Weather was ideal for walking., shorts every day.

Everything went like clockwork - hotel bookings / baggage transfer / maps / route descriptions. On Foot Holidays are very good at this sort of thing. We trust them.

This was a bucket list holiday for us and it lived up to our expectations. Such a beautiful area and the hikes were diverse which made it so much better. All had opportunities for incredible vistas and challenged us in different ways. Whether an urban route with LOTS of stairs or out in a forest which was more rugged. Such a great experience.

We had heard about them through a friend who had used them last year. Very responsive in all our communications and provided good advice about what to expect. Very accommodating as we made a couple adjustments to the accommodations and length of the trip. Provide incredibly detailed info on the trip as a whole and each daily segment, plus a gps app tailored to our specific trip. Several of our friends have already asked who we used.

We had a nine-day walking holiday organised by On Foot with five different hotels and On Foot organising our luggage transfers while we walked between villages. All hotels were amazing.

From start to finish On Foot Holidays could not have been more helpful. From the very first conversation we knew we wanted to book with them because they were so knowledgable and really cared about what we wanted to get from the holiday. On Foot was so responsive and all communication rapid and clear. We had to postpone our holiday for personal reasons and On Foot arranged that with no additional cost. Cannot praise them highly enough.

Walking holiday along the Amalfi Peninsula with hotels booked and baggage transfers- worked really well- excellent printed instructions and an app which bleeped if we went more than 50m off the route. Really enjoyed the scenery along ancient trails, coming down into attractive (and busy) towns each evening

Never had such support and communication during the booking process and the very extensive pre trip information. Cannot recommend highly enough

We spent 9 full days hiking the Amalfi Coast. What a wonderful way to see an area. Scenic and very beautiful. This was a great way to experience the towns and countryside with and without the crowds. Mostly without while on the trail. Can't say enough about the landscape, food and the views!

We used On Foot Holidays. They were great to work with! They took care of all of the details of our accommodations and trail routes. Not only did they send us very detailed maps and directions but they also have a great route app that does not require data or a lot of phone battery. We could run it all day. The best helpful feature was if you got more than 50 m off trail it would alert you. Very handy! On Foot was very responsive to our questions and extremely helpful through the whole process from reservations, suggestions, in-country help, transfer of luggage daily, restaurant options and things to do and see. We also followed their suggestions of extra days in Positano, Sant' Agata and a few days in Capri. We were delighted that we did them all. It was really a great adventure. We are looking forward to our next trip with them.
