Ciceroni is well deserving of its silver medal and goes on from strength to strength. Their choice of countries and programmes show this.

Dublin and District---a pleasure to visit.

Much added value when Tom Duncan is leader. His knowledge of all things Dublin---- houses, gardens furniture ,paintings, architecture and historical context is probably unsurpassed , as well as his ability to obtain access to properties not for general viewing . What more could one ask for?

The admin was also a plus factor. If a problem arose prior to departure it was handled very speedily as well as any hitches whilst on tour ( something normally occurs in my experience ). Otherwise everything went off like clockwork and makes one want to go on other Ciceroni tours as opposed to other operators.

Georgian Dublin and the Irish Country House

Five interesting days led by an expert in Georgian Dublin and beautiful Irish Country houses. We stayed in an excellent hotel in central Dublin - The O'Callaghan Mont Clare Hotel. On two days we were taken in a comfortable coach to visit Russborough, Castletown and Birr Castle where we were guided around the demesne by the owner. On the other days we were shown highlights of Dublin's museums and art galleries with private tours of Newman House ...

This holiday could not have been improved upon. The new audio guide system is much better. Tom Duncan's talks on Irish history were gripping.
