Robin Pope Walking Safari Zambia

Robin Pope Walking Safari Zambia Overview

South Luangwa National Park was the birthplace of the African walking safari. This holiday gives you an unparalleled opportunity to get close to nature, explore and understand the secrets of the bush. You’ll be staying in fully serviced camps and each evening you’ll be dining beneath the stars. It’s an authentic and enriching bush experience.

You’ll fly from Lusaka to Mfuwe, where you’ll be met and driven to Nkwali Camp on the Luangwa River. The next morning your walking safari begins. Over the next 5 days you’ll be travelling through remote wilderness areas with prolific wildlife. Your guide will help you interpret the signs and tracks and make sense of all that you see. There’s no way to get closer to nature than this and it promises to be a fascinating holiday. Your final night is spent at a tented camp and the next morning you’ll be driven back to Mfuwe airport for the flight to Lusaka.

The maximum group size is just 6 and the minimum age is 21. This is a fully serviced safari. You will have an extremely comfortable walk-in tent and there is a shared bucket shower and long drop toilet.

Walks are led by an experienced guide and accompanied by armed rangers.
