This 14-day tour (14 – 27 Aug ’26) allows you to experience the landscapes that inspired ‘America’s Artist’ Georgia O’Keeffe and to see three operas in the memorable Santa Fe opera theatre . There will be time for walks in river canyons and through forests of aspen, Ponderosa pine and Gambel oak.

Join us in the Land of Enchantment. Experience the landscapes that inspired Georgia O’Keeffe, rightly dubbed ‘America’s artist’. Visit the locations of her iconic works and walk through the studio that provided the settings for her major paintings.

See opera as never before in the covered, but open on both sides, Santa Fe opera house, set in the desert with magnificent sunsets and the chance of lightning and thunder in the distance. We will attend Puccini’s Madame Butterfly, Handel’s Rodelinda and Mozart’s The Magic Flute.

There will be time for optional walks along the Rio Grande and in a canyon roamed by the folklore cowboys of the Wild West with a gentle climb to a lake at 11,000 feet. Summer temperatures are moderated by high altitude and a lack of humidity. We sample a variety of New Mexican food accompanied by great U.S. and international wines.
