This beautiful and demanding trek in the Pyrenees takes us from France over the high mountains into Spain. Our route follows the ‘Freedom Trail’, one of the escape routes followed by thousands of allied servicemen and Jewish refugees seeking to escape Nazi-occupied France by fleeing to neutral Spain.

Its snow-capped summit rises high above the dusty African plains; huge permanent glaciers flow down from the summit, spectacular views and beautiful ice formations are the reward for pushing your limits.
Our route to Base Camp takes us via the Sherpa capital of Namche Bazaar through beautiful valleys, dense forests and across glacial rivers before we reach the renowned viewpoint of Kalapatar on the approach to Everest Base Camp.
