Just back from doing the Ridgeway walk in four days (five nights) from Avebury to Streatley with my dog. This was a superb walk with spectacular countryside and great places to stay.

Really well organised trip and great friendly service and useful info pack.

We have just completed the second half of the Ridgeway walk. We did the first half in May. Beautiful and interesting walk. Varied scenery throughout. We chose the six night holiday giving us ample time to enjoy everything. Overnight stops in Streatley, Wendover and Aldbury with Mickledore providing the taxis when necessary.

We have had many walking holidays with Mickledore. All have been terrific. Their choice of walks, choice of miles per day and overnight stays have always been excellent. Dealing with the team is always a pleasure - without except they are helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. We would never book walking holidays with anyone else.

Booked to walk the Ridgeway national trail through Mickledore. Given lots of information, everything well organised, couldn't complain.

At 81 and 73 we must be two of Mickledore older clients. However we have just completed the Ridgeway Walk in 8 days and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was booked at short notice but Mickledore found us some beautiful pubs. We even stayed mainly dry despite such a wet late September in the south of England.

This was our third trip with Mickledore and once again everything was well organised and went smoothly. They are extremely helpful and knowledgeable with all aspects of the planning. The maps, guidebooks and extra information they supply like where to choose for evening meals all help to make a stress free and enjoyable trip.

My wife and I walked The Ridgeway trail in the UK in a comfortable 9 day itinerary starting in Avebury and ending in Aldbury.

They offer tours that are well-designed with the option to easily customize them, and excellent customer service. The accommodations they arrange are high quality and the day-to-day arrangements are always uncomplicated and effort-free. They provide comprehensive written materials to support you during the walk: 1) guidebook, 2) map, 3) booklet detailing each day's accommodations with directions, phone numbers, and email addresses , and 4) curated lists of restaurants, ATMs, post office, etc. located along the route.

Mickledore organised our holiday. We would not go with any other walking agent. They are simply the best. We have used them countless times. Their team are friendly and knowledgeable. They have a wide range of holidays and the arrangements made for travel, accommodation and routes are always excellent.
