Island Hopping in the Gulf of Thailand

Enjoy Thailand’s tropical paradise with an island-hopping beach break. From Ko Samui's glorious sandy beaches, chic restaurants and lively night scene, to the laid-back islands of Ko Tao and Koh Panghan. Snorkel from the beach, swim in the crystal clear turquoise waters, visit Marine National Parks, these islands are a diver’s paradise!

Best time for this holiday: January- September

Day 1: Arrival into Koh Samui

On arrival in Koh Samui, our driver will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel. Stay 4 nights.

Day 2: Full Day Angthong Marine Park by big boat

Angthong is the second National Park created in Thailand and it consists of around 40 curiously shaped islands. You will depart from Nathon Pier and head north by boat to an archipelago consisting of 42 islands, each with its own individual character. While here, you can explore natural caves, blue lagoons and stunning rock formations. This is followed by a trip to Mae Koh Island where the inner salt lake is located. Lunch will be served on the boat. Head to Wau Ta Lab Island and the National Park headquarters for sunbathing, swimming, snorkelling or just simply relaxing on the white sandy beach while taking in the breathtaking views around you. Return to Ko Samui for overnight.

Day 3 -4: Koh Samui at leisure:

Free at leisure. Go on a mountain safari, visit an elephant camp, explore tropical jungles and swim in refreshing waterfalls.

Day 5: Koh Samui to Koh Tao

Transfer to the jetty and take the catamaran to Koh Tao. Stay 4 nights

Distance and journey times:

Koh Samui to Koh Tao – ferry takes 2.30 hrs.

Day 6 - 8: Koh Tao

Relax and explore Muang Bay on Koh Tao, a shallow dive site with lots of colourful fish where you can enjoy some snorkelling. Take time to visit the picture postcard island of Koh Nang Yuan three tiny islands connected by two strips of the whitest sand possible, allowing an easy passage from one to another. It is also possible to climb one of the hills to enjoy a panoramic view of the surroundings of this picturesque island.

Day 9: Koh Tao to Koh Phangan

Take the ferry to Koh Phangan. Arrive at Thongsala pier and transfer overland to your resort. Stay 4 nights. Relax at the white sand beaches, Explore the island, or laze by the pool.

Distance and journey times:

Mae Had Pier Koh Tao to Thongsala Pier – ferry takes 1.30 hrs.

Day 13: Koh Phangan to Koh Samui and departure

Transfer back to Koh Samui by speedboat and continue by vehicle to the airport for departure or your onward destination.

Koh Phangan Thongsala Pier to Koh Samui – ferry takes 45 mins.
