Half-Term Skiing in Sweden Traveller Reviews

We had a brilliant holiday in Sweden during February half term. The skiing facilities were excellent. The ski guides were particularly good . The resort was relatively quiet, which made it great for learning in for children. We stayed at the Skistar Lodge in Hundfjallet. The accommodation was of a high standard and we have booked to stay there again next year.

This is the fourth year that we have travelled with SkiScandinavia and have booked a further winter break with them already for next year. We had a great holiday. Everything went smoothly from the initial booking through to the holiday during which we were fully supported by the SkiScandinavia team throughout our stay in Sweden. The service that we have received from the team at SkiScandinavia has always been excellent, hence booking all our skiing holidays with them. They offer a very personalised service and go the extra mile to ensure that everything goes smoothly, so that you have an amazing holiday. It is always a pleasure travelling with SkiScandinavia.

We had a wonderful time in Hundfjallet with our kids (6 and 9) on their first skiing holiday. The snow was great and the atmosphere was really welcoming and friendly. I am an experienced skier but it was my first time in Sweden, it was a much calmer and more cozy experience than in the Alps. The kids loved it, we have already booked for next year!

We loved the Skistar Lodge Hundfjallet and everything is set-up in a way that is really easy for families. There were perfect beginner runs for our son (7yrs) and the Troll Garden run is really special for kiddies. There's great skiing for intermediate and advanced skiers too, and we loved the spa in the hotel too (although busy, but it was the school holidays so to be expected).

We've travelled a few times with SKiScandinavia now. The staff are always incredibly friendly, completely on top of things and know their stuff. Travelling with them means no stress! Love them.
