South African safari and Cape Town

We really enjoyed this holiday, the accommodation was 5 star with fantastic food and brilliant animal viewing. We also did horse riding safaris for variety and really enjoyed this, the lodge we stayed at offered a very personalised, flexible experience with excellent guides. The operator was very responsive and reorganised a whale watching tour when the weather was too poor.

They devised a personalised itinerary, were very responsive ad organised everything very well. it all ran smoothly. They had local knowledge that was very useful and we would use them again.

It was a trip of a lifetime!

We loved the trip eve though coming from Arizona it was a bit on the Chilly side. We started out in Rissington and visited all the monuments and other things to see in the 4 days we were there. Then we went to Umlani Bush Camp, the Safari tours were the high light of our trip, 5 AM wasn't bad at all to be woken up at because you knew that you would see all the amazing animals in there natural habitat roaming around. Cape Town had very many lovely things we could go do loved the Penguins. We had two days of rain but there are enough things you can do in side around Cape Town. we even climbed Table Mountain. We want to go back and do more safari's and hopefully more back County stuff.

Daphne was very helpful and patients with us specially since we thought twice we may had to cancel our trip due to illness of our son. Daphne went out of her way to map some destination out for us to go do that was possible in one day. She gave us some great tips of where we could eat along the way. Daphne got us phone numbers for hospital and Cardiologist in every town we stayed at incase something happened with our son. We got all our paper work and tour info on a timely matter.

Outstanding. Trip of a lifetime

Well organised, fantastic time.

Well organised, fantastic time.

Rating for tour operator:

Daphne was excellent in putting together a perfect trip for us, incorporating all the things we wanted to do...and doing it rather with one hand tied behind her back....as I'm sure we were difficult to accommodate, with the chaos of our lives preventing easy communication/instructions. If Daphne is representative of Fleewinters standards, then the rating is excellent for the Tour Operator as a whole.

Stunning South Africa

An amazing first trip to South Africa trip - we have had the most wonderful 3 centre holiday. Accommodation in all 3 places was great , Cape Town was non stop with so many places to visit, Franschhoek lovely and relaxing and then finally the Safari at Nottens , which was just out of this world - we couldn’t believe how welcoming the staff were , how good the food was and finally how exciting the Game Drives were - we didn’t want to come home!

Anthea at Fleewinter was so approachable and also very patient and professional at all times - we had numerous emails and phone conversations with her in order to arrive at the perfect holiday combination.

Wonderful trip to South Africa

Had a wonderful 2 week trip to South Africa put together by Fleewinter. Got to see Whales and penguins, took the Robben Island trip and had good food and wine. Nottens Bush camp was the icing on the cake as we got to see the big 5 and everything else up really close. Food was excellent, wine and service was also fab.
