This was my first real kayaking experience - and I loved it. The scenery was dramatic and breathtaking, the activity challenging, the hospitality excellent. During this holiday, I was able to enjoy being in the moment and was never distracted by thoughts of 'life'!

I was very impressed with the tour operator, Wilderness Scotland. All arrangements, both before and during the trip, were handled very smoothly and efficiently. The equipment - kayaks, paddles, life savers etc - was in good condition and provided all we needed. Our guide was excellent - helpful, patient, flexible, knowledgeable and experienced. The accommodation and food arrangements were also good, enabling us to return from a day's activity and just relax.

Wilderness Svotland provided an excellent experience in an outstandingly beautiful place.

This was a small group kayaking holiday around the lochs and coast of the Scottish Highlands, seeing small coves, islands and wildlife close up, in the most beautiful scenery, while improving your kayaking skills.

This was my 2nd trip kayaking with Wilderness Scotland and both have been beyond expectation, extremely enjoyable and totally brilliant. Seeing the Scottish landscape from a kayak is a special experience and this company look after you so well.

Wilderness Scotland was our tour operator. The team was very knowledgeable and fun to be with. It was a blast. We learned a lot of new things, had a ton of fun, and did some great kayaking. We also laughed a lot and got rescued. I always felt safe and thoroughly enjoyed it.

I planned a private kayaking trip with Wilderness Scotland with the help of Chris Page, their Adventure Consultant. Six women arrived of somewhat different kayaking experience levels, and we were carefully outfitted, evaluated, coached, and then led by excellent skilled, capable, and friendly guides, on four days of west Highland paddling on supremely beautiful lochs and inlets. We had wonderful accommodation and meals. We even took in a Highland Games on the Isle of Skye.

Wilderness Scotland was professional, courteous, capable, and delivered more than I was promised for my holiday, in that I never expected my kayak guide to be a classically trained musician, or a skilled kayak instructor. Once we were picked up at our starting point in Inverness, the rest of the trip was carefree for us. I always felt as if we were in very good hands. All plans were well carried out and seamless.
