Top notch trek to Annapurna Base Camp

We trekked to Annapurna Base Camp via Ghorepani and Poon Hill. Spectacular views and lucky with the weather. The teahouses we stayed in were very good and so was the food. Also the itinerary was well planned so that the days were not too long and we had time to acclimatise.

I highly recommend The Mountain Company if you want a great trekking experience. Having used them for multiple treks they are consistently excellent with their pre and post trek communications as well as their professional guiding and support throughout the trek.

Everything and more!

Trekking in Himalayas - ABC After Covid delays, I finally got the chance to go to Nepal and complete the ABC trek. We had very nice guide and a porter. They were very accommodating and helpful. The weather was fabulous, the views even better and I had the time of my life. Enjoyed the whole experience - the walking, different culture, food (started to drink ginger & lemon tea ;)

We were always informed about any changes due to the pandemic. Once we got going, everything went smoothly - all the transfers, various meetings at the airports/hotels, guided tour around Katmandu.

Annapurna Basecamp trek

First trip to Asia and first Himalayan trekking holiday. 12 days tough trekking in the most amazing place. Beautiful forested valleys and then into soaring mountains and snow.

It was important to me that I chose a reputable and experienced company. It turned out I chose a very good operator. Excellent pre tour information , advice and guidance. Quick responses to questions. In country everything ran smoothly from reception, pre trek briefing, tour and transport arrangements. Changes to itinerary caused by weather and conditions were handled effectively and professionally. Our guide and porter were outstanding, with a lot of focus on our safety and our health. Could not have asked for more.

Annapurna Base Camp Trek

Well planned, well structured, experienced guides, the perfect time to take to get to a destination. Been 30 years since I went to 4130m, could not have asked for a better trek to revisit that height

The Mountain Company did a lot of background checks to ensure I was suitable for the trek, and maintained a strong medical presence throughout the trek to ensure our safety

Exploring and Trekking in Nepal for the First Time

I had a fabulous and eye-opening holiday in Nepal this year. Visiting the sights and learning about the history of Nepal in Kathmandu; seeing how the 2015 earthquake caused much destruction and how the people have picked themselves up and continue to operate their businesses and lives with joy, friendliness and an upbeat disposition; time spente in the lakeside village of Pokhara and; then finally enjoying trekking into the Himalayas to the ...

A memory that will stay with me for life! A holiday and tour I would highly recommend to anyone interested in Nepal.

The Mountain Company were absolutely fabulous, from start to finish! Before the trip I had many, many, many questions and concerns about the trip, what to pack, my fitness level and ability etc... and each email was responded to in full and in super-quick time! Then arriving in Nepal, everything was organised and taken care of, from the airport transfer, to hotel bookings, sightseeing tours, the trekking itinerary, special needs that were required on the trek etc... Just brilliant! I would highly recommend booking a trip with these guys (they were definitely one big step above the other operators we met on the trek. A lot more professional and organised.)

I expected the trek to be outstanding because of the beauty of the area but I did not expect the organisation of the trip to be so completely seamless. At every possible transition there was no waiting or confusion, the transfers were immediate, the mountain lodges all booked and ready (and we saw several other groups and people being turned away). Our guide Buddi was a true expert and his deputy Dipen and the porters were brilliant, great ...

Our guide Buddi was a true expert and his deputy Dipen and the porters were brilliant, great fun & knowledgable about the areas we trekked in. We felt like we were cared about, not just a body on a trek. The pace was perfect and our group of 4 was just right (we saw groups of 14!). We were able to enjoy the trek & the beauty without being concerned about logistics, what a wonderful position to be in
