I cannot praise Jim and all at Adventurous Ewe enough for the holiday packages they have created. The communication is exemplary; from my initial inquiry about the trek, to organising my travel plans and what I needed to bring, and to messaging when I got home to see if I was well, is above and beyond my expectations. The ethics of Adventurous Ewe helped me to feel like I got to see the Atlas Mountains from a view more closely aligned with the locals. Each person I met from the airport transfers, to the host, travel guide, chefs and all those supporting them, were friendly and welcoming, and every aspect of this trip was seamless. The trip leader, Ibrahim, showed us the Berber culture at its finest. I felt like I got to experience all the best parts and that I left with so much knowledge and appreciation of this culture. Getting to walk through different areas before getting to Toubkal base camp was such a treat and I am so glad for the extra time I got to experience the quieter aspects of the mountain range. The trek to the top from base camp was so satisfying and I am so proud of myself. It was hard work, but I was ready due to the 2 days of hard walking previous and for the training plan set before the trip. I feel like I have made friends for life from my fellow travellers, those we met on route, and with the locals. And the food, wow!! Each and every meal, (and snack as there was many of these!!) was delicious. My dietary preferences were met without any problems. This was my first time as a lone traveller, and my first time hiking for this distance or altitude, and it has been a game changer. I am already looking to book my next trip with Adventurous Ewe!

Adventurous Ewe have amazing ethos around the travel and the people they use are all locals who speak highly of them. Their comms from start to finish was excellent. I am already planning another trip with them.

I recently joined a group of 3 ladies to hike Mount Toubkal with Adventurous Ewe. From day 1, Jim and Sue provided a fantastic, quick and responsive service. It felt really personal compared to booking with bigger travel companies and it was amazing value for money. We stayed in beautiful Riads and guesthouses and every member of the team were so welcoming and friendly. The trek itself was fantastic, the pictures really don’t do Mt Toubkal justice of how beautiful it is. Our guide, Ibrahim was wonderful. As relatively inexperienced hikers, he made us feel so relaxed with some great sense of humour and supported us both physically and emotionally every step of the way. Our cooks were also brilliant - we were blown away by the quality of the food they made us half way up a mountain with such little utensils! We set up for camp each night right next to the rivers and waterfalls along the trip- cold water plunging was a great way to soothe the achy muscles and added another unforgettable memory to the experience. We felt so safe and secure the whole way which was also an important factor for us as a small, all female group. I will definitely be booking again with Adventurous Ewe and can’t wait for the next adventure.
