The ultimate Moroccan adventure. Start in Marrakech in a traditional riad. Then your private driver collects you for the 4x4 journey over the Atlas Mountains to the Sahara. After a night under the stars, down to the coast to relax and enjoy Essaouira.

You start with 2 full days in the heart of Marrakech staying in a traditional riad exploring the Medina and the souks. Then it is over the Atlas Mountain via the Tizin Tichkna pass with a lunch stop at the wonderful rock fortress Ait en Haddou. Overnight in a desert Kasbah then into the Sahara Desert in a traditional Nomad Camp for the night. The next day you cross the Lake Iriqi dry lake bed and exit the desert before visiting Tazenacht the centre of the Berber rug making industry. From there follow the Saffron valleys to Taroudant for a night before finishing on the coast in a private villa near Essaouira for proper relaxation and enjoying the prettiest coastal town in Morocco. The beauty of this trip is that no road is travelled twice, it includes watching the desert sunrise on camel-back and private transport all the way. As with all Fleewinter itineraries it is ultimately flexible and works from 10 days up to two weeks
