Mathilde Robert, managing director of Planet Holidays said: “Getting married abroad continues to be a growing trend and with celebrities doing so too, overseas weddings are more popular than ever. Cost is obviously a big factor in choosing an overseas wedding, with weddings on average a third cheaper, even when factoring in travelling costs, but more reliable weather and the wide choice of stunning locations available are also encouraging couples to do so .”

Planet Holidays offer all types of weddings from civil to church weddings, same-sex or gay weddings and renewal of vows, depending on the local laws in each country. They can also arrange a Humanist Wedding Ceremony at the Chateau de Challain in the Loire Valley in France.
