Wilderness - Migrations - Beach Overview

This Wilderness, migrations & beach itinerary offers you a luxurious and decadent holiday exploring the wild areas of Kenya before setting off for a relaxing or very exciting (your choice!) 4 days on the beaches of Zanzibar.

Your holiday starts off in the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy. The Lewa Conservancy is 250km2 and covers diverse landscapes including the Ngare Ndare Forest, making it a wonderful place for viewing a diverse range of game, including the “Big 5”! Soak up the luxury whilst being treated to true Kenyan hospitality in the family-owned lodge we have picked out for you, but don’t forget to make the most of your surroundings and enjoy all the game activities on offer as well! From the Lewa conservancy you will head off to the sacred region of the Masai Mara.

The Masai Mara, deeply rooted in ancestral history, is known for its dense predator population and is also one of the regions through which the Great Migration passes from late July – early August until the end of October – November every year – making this a very exciting time to visit this area! The camp we have chosen for you offers views of the animals crossing the Talek River, just 50m away! In addition to the brilliant wildlife, the region is also home to a large variety of birdlife, and offers beautiful plains landscapes all year round. Here you will enjoy al-fresco style, yet luxurious dining in the bush, as well as game drives and a cultural tour if you so wish!

The last leg of your wilderness, migrations & beach holiday takes you to the beautiful shores of Zanzibar. You will stay at an exclusive resort hotel with in a one-bedroom suite facing the crystal-clear waters of the Indian Ocean. Spend your days here doing as much or as little as you like. There are a wide variety of activities on offer at the resort, including traditional cooking classes, palm tree weaving and scuba diving lessons, amongst a variety of other exciting water activities! The greater Zanzibar region is also worth exploring – book a trip to swim with dolphins or enjoy an historical tour of Stone Town with its unusual architecture and interesting history.
