Ffestiniog Travel have been arranging these sort of tours for a long time. I have been on several trips before and the organisation is always excellent. They use good hotels and have a experienced tour leader on hand to lead the tour.

Great tour, very well organised, great communication. Value for money as the hotels and transportation were excellent. Had some great experiences and toured some of the best steam lines on the continent. Also beer and currywurst!

A wonderful mix of steam railways, historic cities, attractive countryside, and delicious food. As always, travelling with FR Travel provides you with a great tour leader, friendly and varied company, and the opportunity to follow up your own interests. It was so good, I'd love to do it again sometime!

The schedule was perfectly paced for a group like ours, purposeful but never hurried, and the rail travel and hotel arrangements had been made with meticulous care. That doesn't just happen; it reflects the skill and experience of the tour company and the tour leader.
