We had a trip booked with Mallic Sousa up the Gambian river. Mallic was an outstanding guide. His knowledge of the birds we saw was fantastic. He was very caring as we are both getting on and my husband is a little disabled. The Bakato hotel is a beautiful hotel with stunning gardens and very friendly staff

We had to change our arrangements and they helped us sort out new travel. They wer3 very knowledgeable and patient

Stayed at Bakuto Hotel which is ideally situated for easy access to good birdwatching sites. Very easy to pick up one of the Official Bird Guides from their office on the bridge. Facilities at the hotel were good, though service in the restaurant was very slow at times.
