Just returned from a 2 week self-catering holiday in Paxos, Greece--This was the second year we travelled with Planos holidays. The whole thing from start to finish has been brilliant. Nick and Leza in the office were very helpful when we had to change dates earlier in the year and it was all done with no fuss. On the journey--Planos provide their own greeters all along the way so you know where to go, and the transfers at Corfu Airport to the Sea Port were very quick. The Ferry crossing (transfers included) was good and we were installed in out Villa just after 6 pm. Planos did a great job --- We've done this journey a dozen times over the years, and on occasions been left on the dockside for hours in the scorching heat waiting for a ferry, but the arrangements this time were great. Lots of help with baggage along the way too. We stayed at Mandelena,in Logos, Paxos which is a traditional place but with all the necessaries. The local Rep., Dina, in Logos was in the office every day and was always very helpful and pleased to arrange taxis etc. There were other extremely good Reps in Lakka, all available by mobile in the event of a problem. Terrific holiday. Well done Planos!

After a hectic couple of months involving house refurbishments a lazy week on Paxos was just what the doctor ordered, and it certainly lived up to expectations. We stayed in the village of Lakka which has a good selection of tavernas indeed the most difficult decision of the day was where we were going to eat and drink. Most of all it is the peace of the place, where even leaning on a wall watching the yachts in the harbour seems strenuous, always helped by some good weather of course.

This was the first time we had used the services of Nick and the team at Planos Holidays and I must say I was more than impressed from start to finish by their professionalism, and will certainly be using them again. Also the flights used on Germania airlines were one of the better holiday airlines I have used.

Fabulous trip we were staying on a small island off Corfu about one hours ferry from Corfu harbour. It was quiet, unspoilt Greece a very special place where you truly so step off the roller coaster of life, a week felt like a moth ad time stood still - a very special experience and one I am repeating in September - I have booked already!

Fabulous holiday in Greece booked through Planos holidays, their service from the UK to arriving in our villa was second to none. They were so well organised and everything from first speaking to the owner Nick in the UK the advice etc. he gave as I had never been to Greece before, through to booking and then departing was excellent cannot fault them ad would recommend 101%

We travelled to Paxos with Easyjet, which was fine. The return journey however on Germania was first class (without a first class fare or upgrade,however! Our Holiday apartment was ideal,well furnished and we received top quality service from our apartment owner,who provided more than adequate maid service. We found Paxos to be quite delightful and are sure to return. Many long walks enjoyed.could do with better signage,but we managed! Finally, the return flight with Germania Airline was well above average...almost first class but without a supplement! Many many thanks and well done thePlanos team.experience. Patrick & Kate Aydon

Planos who organised our Holiday couldn't have done more to help with our enjoyment of our holiday. The Planos staff ien route and in Lakka were always helpful,courteous and friendly.we even had a free taxi service provided by owner,Nick which was an added bonus, (even though I promised not to tell anyone about it !).

We knew we'd enjoy Loggos on Paxos and we stayed in the Gardenia apartment conveniently situated about the mini-market and looking onto the picturesque harbour. We varied our evening meals between the three restaurants facing the sea and often had lunch at the Bouloukkos taverna at Levrecchio beach. evening drinks before dinner were at the Roxi Bar run by Costas. the pleasant lady in the bakery served us our breakfast and picnic delights. The boat trip to Anti Paxos was 'exciting' and the buses tho' infrequent were cheap and we could always walk back. Shall be booking with Planos for next year but may make it a fortnight.

Planos Holidays can be described as friendly and personal and their representatives at Gatwick, Corfu and on Paxos were always prepared to help, not that we had any problems, other than the mosquitos which as usual attacked me rather than Joan.

Sheer paradise from start to finish, in a cottage on the beach, in Loggos, on a wonderful island. Everything was as described, just more beautiful. I was unfortunate to need medical assistance and Dina in the Loggos office was so helpful and guided in the right direction, making it less traumatic. We have so many memories and good friends now, and cannot wait to return

We have just returned from our first Planos holiday, and it certainly will not be the last. Such a difference travelling with a smaller tour operator. From our original enquiry right through the choosing/booking process, we were given help and guidance from the UK based staff. Absolute clockwork all the wayand the staff on Corfu and Paxos were fantastic. We were not treated as passengers with " a booking reference" but like friends and given every assistance when necessary. A small company that you have never heard of? you have no need to worry, they are an absolute gem

Paxos is a beautiful island covered in olive trees making walking a pleasure as there is shelter from the sun. There are lots of paths through the olives to beautiful beaches - although these are stony. We went in September which is perfect weather for us as the temperatures are cooler. We stayed in Loggos which is the smallest of the three villages on the island but we think is the best - there is walking access to most of the beaches on the island from here and the tavernas are excellent. The local people are very friendly and make you feel an important part of the community.

From the first phone call to the office to the last goodbye in Paxos Planos looked after us very well. The accommodation was perfect and there was always a member of the Planos team available at both offices on the island. They were always ready to help but not intrusive. A wonderful holiday experience.

We stayed in a converted donkey barn on the northern most tip of this beautiful olive grove of an island. Spent our days walking along the donkey tracks to wonderfully quiet beaches with stunning views of mainland Greece. In the evenings we joined the flotilla holiday makers at the family run tavernas enjoying the fabulous local food, and soaking up the atmosphere overlooking the harbour.

Planos are a small well established company who at home and in Paxos, go that extra mile to help make our holiday special. They have complete knowledge of each accommodation and do their very best to sort out any problems. That is why we have chosen them three times so far and will be booking with them again next year.

Our holiday on Paxos was completely relaxed and trouble free. The booking and outward travel went smoothly and the villa was pristine and the view over the bay at Lakka,spectacular. While others hire cars and boats, we walk and use the bus. Going at the end of September the weather is cooler and there are fewer tourists and you can almost have a beach to yourself. Our journey back was a nightmare but beyond the control of Planos Holidays. The ferry was dangerously overcrowded and our plane was delayed 3 hours with no information provided by Monarch Airways.

We have travelled several times to Paxos with Planos and staff service is really good from contact in England through to the reps at the airports and on the island. Mary, the rep on Paxos had the forethought to make sure that we had pre-booked tickets on the larger ferry on our return so that we could get on the ferry but about 140 people were left on Paxos quayside.

This was our second stay on Paxos in self-catering accommodation, and our seventh and best trip to a Greek island destination. The villa proved to be everything it was made out to be - no hidden snags. From start to end we were comfortable, and care-free. Everything worked well for us - just what we wanted.

The level of service at the holiday destination was excellent, especially during transfers and on arrival (e.g. the advance food order purchasing service was so helpful). Reps were accessible when we wanted to ask something, and on departure they made sure we were supported through any travel difficulties due to bad weather and possibility of delayed flights. Very good service follow-through!
