An Unforgettable Bhutan Experience with Tinley and Chimmy! Our trip to Bhutan was simply outstanding, thanks to our wonderful guide Tinley and our brilliant driver Chimmy. Every detail was thoughtfully handled — from being serenaded by novice monks to sharing tea with an 85-year-old monastery guardian. Tinley adapted treks to suit our love of longer walks and made sure we experienced real Bhutanese life through simple but welcoming homestays. Yes, there were some long drives, but the breathtaking landscapes made every mile worth it. The food was tasty, spicy, and authentic — and our camping meals should of been Michelin-starred! Tiger’s Nest Monastery was the perfect grand finale. Highly recommend!

Mountain Kingdoms

We did a gentle walking trip to the east of Bhutan. Our driver and guide were absolutely fantastic, we felt truly safe and are still wondering how a young man can know so much about his country and its miraculous culture! The trip was well-planned and diligently organized, accomodation and places to have lunch were well-chosen, and so we travelled from one highlight to another. Back home now we are still more than filled with a wonderful experience!

Mountain Kingdoms organized a wonderful tour and helped most quickly with any minor or major questions that needed answering before the tour. So we were really well-prepared when we set off.

All the accommodation was excellent and the guide was very knowledgable which made the holiday interesting.

we loved every minute: beautiful people, stunning scenery, variety of activities from cultural to safaris, swimming to climbing. Perfect time to go. Our guide/driver was exceptional.

Confusion over visas and insufficient advice re: check-in procedure. Our airline tickets came too late for us to secure good seats. Advice re: clothing: could do with loose trousers for visiting temples. Fan would be useful. Tipping advice very out of date

I trekked to Annapurna Base Camp in Nepal, it was a circular route that followed traditional paths and tea house stays overnight.

The tour operator provided a very comprehensive schedule of the trek, with day to day information on the number of hours we would be trekking, the type of landscapes that we would be travelling through, description of the features we would find in the tea houses each night,etc.

I had a wonderful time in Gujarat with Mountain Kingdoms and I am still marvelling at how much we saw and what a diverse selection of places and experiences we were given. The textiles element was superb and meeting the skilled artisan workers who produce the beautiful wood block prints, screen prints and embroideries was an absolute delight and so for me it was a tour of a lifetime. It was an extremely well balanced trip as we were also taken to temples, mosques, palaces and markets so a terrific all round experience of the 'real India'.

Simply a trip of a lifetime, which far exceeded our expectations. Breathtaking scenery, stunning encounters everyday and mind blowing adventures on the zodiac expeditions with some incredible staff and crew. Faultless facilities and a very happy ship, what more can I say, it left us speechless.

You will find it extremely hard to better this company for any holiday or custom made adventure. Their attention to detail is second to none, and nothing is too much trouble in accommodating any personal add-ons or specific requests where feasible. We have used them numerous times and feel totally at ease with any holidays booked through them. The trips function like clockwork, which is a total credit to all the staff behind the scenes who deal with the flights, accommodation, excursions and their agents abroad too. Excellent service and would highly recommend to anyone who likes the outside expeditions.

This was an amazing adventure on a wonderful boat with the best guides and unbelievable wildlife. We had the time of our life.

A well thought through itinerary, giving an great introduction to the wonders of Patagonia! The local guides were all excellent and the stay at Estancia Cristina was the highlight of the trip.

We extented our trip in Patagonia and was delighted with the recommended extension ideas and accommodation chosen for this, all enquiries were quickly dealt with.
