Outstanding time exploring the "wilds of assynt"

Great trip with Wilderness Scotland guide, Kirsty, to explore many hills, coasts, and points of scenic interest in the Assynt area. Super accommodation, meals, pace of days, lovely group of guests from various countries all got along great. Outstanding weather(who comes home from Scotland with a sun tan???) made every day special.

Our second booking with Wilderness Scotland, and would not hesitate to recommend to everyone. Great pre-trip booking, excellent planning of tour to include outstanding accommodation, meals, variety of days activities, and the support of an experienced and professional guide made this a super experience.

Walking - Outer Hebrides & Skye by Clevedon Jim, 6 Jun 2016
Holiday Rating:

A wonderful experience in beautiful places; always under expert caring guidance; Much more to the trip than I ever expected.

This was an adventure to the close wilderness. We achieved close to our limits without ever being at too great a risk. The places we visited and the things we saw will live in our minds for a very long time. The accommodation, food and ambiance were very good. We were very fortunate to have perfect weather. 28/05/16 to 03/06/16

A great experience exploring the Outer Hebrides with Wilderness Scotland

We spent a week with Wilderness Scotland exploring the Outer Hebrides. There were 6 in our group and a leader. We travelled from North Uist down to Barra spending a couple of days in each area. Our hotels were very good and the food excellent. We were able to walk a lot and spent time bird watching too. We had a great trip out to Mingulay where we were able to walk to cliffs to watch fulmars and sea eagles, and then we sat in amongst the ...

It was a very relaxing and enjoyable week.

Canoeing and camping on the River Spey

I have never been canoeing before and I haven't camped for many years. The guides supplied by Wilderness Scotland were fantastic teaching me safety and technique to make the holiday a success. Considering we had to carry all our equipment and food, I have to say that the menu supplied each day more than exceeded expectation. I would recommend this company to anyone who wishes to experience parts of Scotland that you can't easily see from the ...
