Excellent, with the 2 instructors (Grant and Moose) being truly superb. Scenery to die for.

This was my first cycling holiday outside of the US. It was such a wonderful experience, I am looking to plan another. It will definitely be with Wilderness Scotland.

Stunning scenery
6 day Hiking trip to the Assynt region of Scotland. Hikes were 4 - 8 hours in length and up to 900 meters of elevation gain. Due to fortunate weather, we had Incredible panoramas views of lochs and the sea. Comfortable accommodations near Ullapool overlooking Loch Bloom.

Guides Made the Trip What It Was
Scotland is a beautiful country with very good opportunities for a great cycling adventure. But without our top notch guides it would not have been as excellent as it was.

From Loch Ness to St. Andrews, Balmoral Castle to distilleries, Cairngorms National Park to Dundee, Glamis Castle to sea side fishing villages - we saw it all. And did I mention we climbed some hills in the Highlands? We enjoyed great food and lodging and excellent support from our Wilderness Scotland guides. They ensured nobody got lost or had to bike up a hill if they preferred to be in the van. They even kept the rain away except for one short 1/2 hour period during our 10 days together. It was truly a wonderful holiday!
Rating for tour operator:Wilderness Scotland provided superb support. The guides were fun, efficient, knowledgeable, flexible and always looking out for us. The lodging facilities were interesting and most comfortable. Food was always good whether at the hotels for breakfast, in a cafe for lunch or a picnic along the route. The dinners that were included were excellent. I would not hesitate to use Wilderness Scotland again.
