We hiked the perimeter of Cornwall from Penzance to St. Ives in the early fall.

They kept in close touch and were very responsive from our first queries until we completed our holiday and got back home. They advised us on the route, booked our accommodations & meals and arranged to transport our luggage day by day. They provided assistance avoiding travel problems (they warned us in advance of a railway strike which affected our arrival at the start), and provided color and history to enhance the trip.

On Foot provided excellent pre tour care, very informative and personalised. Self guided notes were generally high quality considering natural environments alter over time. Proactive support from local contact person and subsequent response from On Foot when we were confused about a section of the walk very much appreciated. We loved OnFoot’s honesty and empathy. Round-trip walk St. Ives to St. Ives via St. Michael's Way, Southwest Coastal Path and Tinners' Way. Varied terrain, lots of ups and downs, fabulous coastal scenery, historical mining remains, fishing harbours, flowers blooming everywhere, friendly locals, great food and drink, comfortable accommodations. Exceeded our expectations in every way.

On Foot Holidays ensured we were fully informed and prepared for our walk. GPS track, maps, detailed descriptions of the route, historical and local information, equipment list, local contact, booking comfortable and convenient accommodations, forwarding luggage, providing eating out suggestions, tailoring the trip to our requests (extra days), checking our progress on the walk, follow-up after the walk - all were supplied. I truly cannot think of anything more that they could have done to create a memorable experience for us. The only hitch was a train strike in London on our arrival day, but On Foot anticipated this and suggested alternate arrangements.

This was a most beautiful walk around the SW coast of England. The scenery was beautiful and varied including rugged coastal cliffs, pretty beaches with turquoise waters, idyllic village harbors, moorland, bronze age standing stones and a bustling pretty coastal town. Around every corner was another beautiful scene. Stunning.

The On Foot Holidays team provides a wonderful experience. They are professional and attentive. When a potential train strike threatened to interfere with our travel to the start of walk, they came up with an alternative travel arrangement for us. The route notes were spot on and fun to read because they offered background information on areas of interest that we passed along the way. Our fifth trip with On Foot; planning our sixth.

We absolutely loved the unspoilt coastal beauty of On Foot's Cornwall South Coast Path hike. The views were stunning especially with the heather and gorse in bloom. We loved the challenge of the hike and also the places we stayed. Our trip was so well organized and we didn't have any problems at all. Thanks to On Foot Holidays, we had an exciting Cornish Experience.

On Foot Holidays is simply excellent. They are quick to reply to communications and they do an excellent job of finding interesting places to stay along the way. We know we can always depend on the accommodations they choose. Their walking directions are excellent and they give online maps as well that you can download to double check. We are never worried about getting lost on our hikes. They give pointers in your itinerary about what you need to consider for the next day. This information is very helpful. We were most impressed with On Foot's contact for this hike. We were able to contact her anytime during our trip and we even got to stay at her Bed and Breakfast which was such a lovely experience. We experienced spectacular coastal views and beautiful Cornish countryside, with hardly any "mizzle". We even learned some history along the way. Some of the the hike days were more challenging than others, but we were well prepared with our daily itinerary and written guide notes. The accommodations and pre-arranged meals were delightful. All of the organized transportation of luggage and hikers was effortless for us, thanks to On Foot's attention to detail. It was a wonderful holiday!

The people at On Foot Holidays take great care to ensure our adventure is well organized so we need not worry about details and we are free to enjoy our vacation. They are always responsive to email before and during the trip. Having a local contact person also ensures that support is only a phone call away. This was our third walk with On Foot. It would have been our fourth, but pandemic lock downs canceled our earlier plans. They handled the cancelation with such grace that we had no hesitation in coming back, once we could do so. We are already considering our next adventure with On Foot Holidays!

We are very happy with our walk, it was very beautiful route. It took longer than we expected, but we would do it again. Better to take longer time and enjoy more.

The coastal path walking was tough so it was great that we could trust On Foot to take care of all the logistics, so that we just had to turn up at our next destination and know our bags would be there waiting for us.

We did a five day hike from St Ives around the Lands End Peninsula. The scenery was amazing and, by and large, we enjoyed great weather.

This was the 6th trip we have done with On Foot Holidays. They are exceptionally well organised. Their communication is excellent. The walking routes are always challenging but well thought out.
