Rating for tour operator:

Nothing was ever too much trouble, and we were treated like VIPs throughout the trip. They are a small company who truly care about their clients, an ethos which was matched by the ground agents in Turkmenistan.

Unusual destination indeed.

Being a vegetarian is hard here, and the concept poorly understood, even when explained to them. Luckily the vegetarian in our group brought protein snacks and nuts ...

Rating for tour operator:

Unusual Destinations were knowledgeable about Turkmenistan, the trip details and visa requirements. They were always prompt in replying and procured the letter of invitation for us. Their local operator was excellent and we definitely feel that we received excellent value for our money.

A wonderful tour, with a well-planned itinerary, which far exceeded my expectations. Excellent tour leader, great driver and first-class vehicle.
