Wonderful room, brilliant service, fabulous food

We spent 10 days at the Mandarin and Mango, Faralya, Turkey, on a half board basis. The room was actually a huge suite, complete with jacuzzi, overlooking the beautifully tended pool and gardens. There was plenty of storage and a very comfortable super king size bed. The half board option provided afternoon tea and a five course evening meal and was terrific value for money. The evening meal consisted of five courses of which the first course was 4 different mezes. In all the 10 days we never had the same dish twice which means that in total we had over 60 different dishes. After the second night we had to ask that the number of courses be reduced on the grounds that we could not possibly eat them all! The standard of food was extremely high and the restaurant service discreet and unobtrusive. Ghislain, the owner, arranged trips for us as required and provided any information we needed about the trips and the local area. If you like walking he is the man to go with> Rather than staying in a hotel we felt that it was more like being part of a family. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Faralya is a bit off the beaten track being on the coast road about 5 miles beyond Oludeniz but access to Fethiye and Oludeniz is easy using the local dolmus service ( every 30 minutes) which stops on request outside the hotel. This is also cheap given the distances. Would I recommend the Mandarin and Mango? Draw your own conclusion!

Cachet travel proved easy to deal with, efficient and extremely helpful. We were having problems getting an evisa for Turkey but they were able to resolve that for us.

This gem of a hotel located in a peaceful hamlet surrounded by woodland and meadows is ideal for total relaxation with the option of good walking if you feel so inclined. The accommodation is superb, the traditional Turkish food exceptional and the staff very welcoming and friendly. We shall certainly be using Cachet Travel again and in particular returning to Turkey.

A restful holiday to recharge batteries in beautiful surroundings

Two weeks at the Mandarin Boutique hotel with 2 teenagers. The accommodation was luxurious, comfortable, clean and filled with interesting artefacts. Every detail has been thought about for example kettles in the rooms, to pool towels, shady places to sit and relax and comfortable sun loungers (not the cheap plastic rigid variety!) Two weeks at the Mandarin Boutique hotel with 2 teenagers. The accommodation was luxurious, comfortable, clean and filled with interesting artefacts. Every detail has been thought about for example kettles in the rooms, to pool towels, shady places to sit and relax and comfortable sun loungers (not the cheap plastic rigid variety!) Somebody has really thought about this place in detail and it doesn't go unnoticed by clients. Even excursions and holistic therapies are offered. The staff are really sweet and kind and although they don't speak English they manage to convey kindness and warmth. Nothing is too much trouble at the Mandarin. Above all it was a feast for the senses: breathtaking views and interiors, a garden filled with scented jasmine and groaning with grapes, just the sound of crickets not tacky piped music, lovely pool and jacuzzi for gentle exercise and delicious home-cooking with local produce (much of it organic). I am very fussy and I found it difficult to find fault with this place (apart from the mosquitoes in the evening!!) What you don't feel at the Mandarin is processed like a commodity through a corporate hotel chain - you feel like a human!
