A wonderful week in Bhutan with an excellent varied programme. We visited temples and monasteries , watched school children dancing, trekked two hours downhill to a nunnery, where the nuns honoured us with a chant for long life. We did white water rafting, tried archery, stayed in magical places, saw beautiful birds and flowers. And, of course, we climbed up to the Tiger’s Nest, which was as amazing as everyone told us it would be.

We have used Tribes Travel before and have always been so impressed with the way they seem to make the trip fit what we want.

A nine day camping safari in Chobe National Park and the Okavango Delta. Not having camped for many years it was a bit out of my comfort zone but I need not have worried it was an amazing experience from start to finish. We had incredible sightings of wild dog hunting and fighting over territory, many sightings of leopards, lions and hyenas as they went about their lives as well as a huge range of other birds and animals. We made new friends, both in our holiday group and also with the guide and camp staff who were a pleasure to be with, the camping experience was wonderful and the camp food was 5*.

The safari was amazing and exceeded our expectations in every way, including the lodges, staff and food. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable as well as considerate and had a fantastic sense of humour. In Zanzibar the hotel had lovely rooms and an amazing setting over looking the sea. The service and food were all top quality, as well as the spa facilities. A great place to relax with opportunities to explore Zanzibar.

Lots of accurate information, guiding us to have the best possible experience, including support before the holiday concerning vaccinations and what to expect.
