Enjoy some of the best walking in all of the Alps on a thrilling route between Switzerland’s most famous mountains, the Eiger and the Matterhorn. The walk begins beneath the famous North Face and ends at the iconic pyramid of possibly the world’s most recognisable peak. It's a challenging walk of 150km over high, rocky mountain passes to 3000m on true Alpine trails that wind through boulder fields, Alpine meadows, and deep valleys via lakes, forests and pretty mountain villages. Look out, too, for meadows teeming with wildflowers and insects, marmots on the ground and birds of prey in the skies.
