Arrival day
After a one-hour boat ride to La Gomera, we'll arrive in time to enjoy the views and go for a swim before supper.

Around Arure
High up lies the sleepy village of Arure where painting subjects include old farmsteads, palms and terraces. We stop at a viewpoint of the magnificent valley below, the sea and distant islands.

Ancient Agullo
This old village still retains stone houses and small allotments. A peaceful place to sit, paint and relax with a lovely little authentic restaurant for lunch.

Red earth
An unusual sculpted landscape of red soil, trees and the ever-present sea. Later, we stop in the tiny hamlet of Caseria des Epenias where pink and white houses and palms create charming subjects to paint.

Free day
Take a break on this painting holiday and read by the pool, swim in the sea, take a whale watching trip, wander around the shops or people watch in a cafe.

The woods of Las Hayas
The ancient woodland is not to be missed with twisted laurel, lichen, hanging mosses and light flickering through the canopy.

Back on the seafront
We spend the morning painting in the little harbour of Gran Rey where small boats bob about and the occasional fisherman returns. After lunch, we return to the scenes outside our hotel and a final sunset.

Departure day
After breakfast, we will take a short ferry ride back to Tenerife airport.
