Welcome aboard our ONE Experience cruise on Portugal’s Douro River. On this holiday we have taken care of everything so you don’t have to. Fully all inclusive on board, with all excursions and even gratuities already included in the price, there is more time for you to sit on the sun deck with a glass of local Port wine as you drift through the upper Douro Valley. The spectacular landscape is characterised by improbably steep terraces covered in vines and vineyards. Hills fall steeply to the water’s edge and the region becomes more sparsely populated as you travel inland. Bookended by Porto and Salamanca, both World Heritage cities, our cruise takes you to baroque towns, such as Vila Real and Lamego, local quintas where wines have been made by the same families for generations, and to Aveiro, the Venice of Portugal.
