Trek to Toubkal summit - highest peak in North Africa

This is a fantastic short trek surrounded by stunning Moroccan countryside. The summit of Toubkal is 4167metres and is the highest peak in North Africa. Leaving from Marrakesh we completed the trek in two long days, led by a local guide who grew up within the foothills of Toubkal. We were very well supported throughout the trek, with a clear itinerary, good accommodation and provided with a range of Moroccan dishes throughout the trip. The views from the summit are incredible stretching right across Morocco and on a clear day with a view of the Sahara Desert. To enjoy this trip you do need to be quite fit, it involves a second day of up to 13 hours walking including an ascent of the summit before sunrise.

Rating for tour operator:

This was a very well organised trip and what was promised was delivered. The local tour operator was brilliant, he really looked after us and tried hard to ensure we all enjoyed the trip.

Adventure trip to Morocco for a 2 day climb to the summit of Mount Toubkal and 2 days exploring Marrakech.

The holiday was a great adventure experiencing the wonderful country of Morocco. The first 2 days were spent climbing Mount Toubkal, the highest summit in North Africa. The climb was tough over 2 days but the scenery was spectacular and I felt a sense of achievement on reaching the summit. The 2 days spent in Marrakech were amazing. The people, food and sounds all make for an exiting few days.

Rating for tour operator:

KE Adventure were very professional and helpful during the booking procedure and also with any last minute questions. I would happily travel with them again and would have to hesitation in recommending them to others.
