We spent 2 nights in Delhi at the ITC Maurya, 2 nights in Varanasi at the Gateway Hotel, 2 nights in Agra at the ITC Mughal and 3 nights in Jaipur at the ITC Rajputana. Our last night was at the Holiday Inn airport hotel in Delhi. The hotels were all excellent. We were met by a rep at each destination and introduced to a guide and driver. We took internal flights from Delhi to Varanasi which although there was one long delay were very comfortable and although of short duration provided us with a 2 course meal. Our train journey was from Bharatpur to Jaipur and was again comfortable with a 2 course meal.

The reps were very efficient meeting us at destinations, booking us into hotels and taking us to airports and the station. The guides and our driver were all excellent. They spoke clear English and provided an excellent level of information without overload. They also shared personal details and general information on India to give us as full a picture as possible of life in India. The choices of hotels was excellent - suited to the information I had provided regarding our requirements. In all areas of the trip I feel that the TransIndus rep who designed the trip had listened to us and produced a trip that exactly suited what we wanted.

We went on the Classic India tour in October 2014. Booked on Group Tour but we were the only ones booked on it. After a couple of e mails they allowed us the two of us to go ahead with it as planned. Everything went to plan, there was always a guide or rep to meet us. Hotels were lovely. Anand, our driver was excellent, always had wipes and sweets to hand. The car was very comfortable, sometimes a relief to get in it out of the heat. We saw amazing sights, will never forget Varanasi, what an experience! Would definitely book again with Transindus.
