The specific climate of the region had already long-established the towns of Eze and Grasse as centres of the perfume industry, but it was the English who peppered the countryside with landscaped gardens. On this holiday you and your fellow solo travellers, will be based in the charming town of Menton. Once part of the Principality of Monaco this sun-kissed town, just a stone’s throw from the Italian border, is famous for its gardens and its lemon festival. All this whilst staying at a waterfront hotel in Menton, a town that oozes charm and conviviality.
