Ten days, and covering a lot of ground, this holiday was as described, not needing high fitness, but giving a superb experience travelling across Serbia, Bosnia and Croatia. The smooth organisation meant we could just soak in the culture, landscape, history, delicious food and hospitality of the region. City tours of Belgrade, with its beautiful rivers, Mostar, Sarajevo and Dubrovnik were balanced with three days in the Serbian countryside in very comfortable log cabins. There was a small amount of walking, not too challenging physically. My highlights included the Mostar bridge at night, exploring the beautiful and tragic history of Sarajevo, and the limestone scenery of Bosnia. Both Mostar and Dubrovnik were extremely overcrowded with other tourists, even outside peak season. I had looked for an introduction to the Balkans, and this holiday enabled me to have many exciting experiences in a short time. I would recommend it.

Rating for tour operator:

KE Adventures were efficient and helpful in every way. Our Serbian guide for the trip was good humoured, knowledgeable, and skilled at managing the group and sorting out problems for us. I was thoroughly convinced of the value of guided group holidays, when limited for time, and looking for new experiences in an unknown culture.
