Costa Rica Family Adventure Traveller Reviews

We travelled in a large tour around the north of Costa Rica, stopping at hotels at each notable area. We concluded the tour in Samára, where we were allowed to make our own choices regarding the activities, including going on dolphin tours and Sunset views. All in all a fantastic time!

We had a tour operator named Malo, who was fantastic at maximising the amount of fun we could have in such a small period of time. He would often have us stop at interesting, of the road areas where we can see unique sights that are not common. He was also brilliant at making sure we are all content, even in times where things can go wrong, and assisting that good vibes and smiles are the way forward. Our driver of Rony can even deserve a mention, as he was always there to share pieces of the local culture, as well as just have a general laugh.

My husband and I travelled with our teenage sons on a very interesting, fast paced trip around some really varied and interesting national parks in Costa Rica. The terrain and wildlife was varied and ever present. Our guide was good humoured, knowledgable and adaptable. As well as the wildlife we enjoyed white water rafting, zip wiring, river swimming, surfing in the pacific ocean and even an evening yoga class in a bamboo yoga studio. We enjoyed all the marvellous wildlife and were astounded at how close we got to turtles, monkeys, caimans, iguanas, many , many spectacular birds. The distances travelled were short and our accommodation varies and interesting. A marvellous experience.

We think KE's itineraries are more imaginative then their rivals and that their holidays are really effective at giving their clients excellent engagement with the country and the best it has to offer. They often manage to include trips and experiences which are just a little different from the standard offering. We like the fact that the tour price often covers many meals. We find that this makes budgeting just a bit more straightforward and that the holidays are excellent value for money.

A family adventure holiday with a mixture of activities and wildlife spotting. My 15 year old daughter didn't really want to go on this holiday as it wasn't really 'her thing." However, after two weeks having great fun with a lovely bunch of people and an enthusiastic tour leader she didn't want it to end!

Absolutely superb trip and so we'll organised. Our two boys aged 12 and 14 say it is their best ever holiday and we agree.

KE were superb and Walter the local guide could not be faulted. Would love to visit Costa Rica again
