Rating for tour operator:

Wild Frontiers were excellent, with their level of detailed knowledge and willingness to spend a long LONG time helping me construct the perfect itinerary for me and my teenage kids beyond expectations. Their on the ground team were of the highest quality and the guides used the best I've experienced. In addition they take their environmental and community responsibilities very seriously, which matters a lot these days. Totally recommend

The cities of Tashkent, Khiva, Bukhara and Samarkand were amazing; stunning Islamic architecture and fascinating history. We particularly enjoyed staying in the Orient Star Hotel in Khiva which has been converted from an old Madrassa. All the local guides we had were very personable, informative and enthusiastic with excellent English. Kyrgyzstan and Kazakstan offered a great contrast with the beautiful Tien Shan Mountains, Lake Issyk Kul - excellent opportunities for walking. We particularly enjoyed staying at the Kemin Guesthouse which had beautiful views in two directions from our bedroom and offered guided walks. The more modern cities of Bishkek and Almaty were also both very interesting . A thoroughly enjoyable and interesting trip. We strongly recommend it.

Rating for tour operator:

Excellent communications beforehand - very helpful and informative. The whole trip ran very smoothly - we were always met by a local driver (even when our flight to Tashkent at the beginning of the holiday was delayed a few hours!) The local guides were all very personable, informative and enthusiastic and they all spoke very good English. Wild Frontiers provided a very comprehensive pack of information and were happy to discuss any details with us. A fascinating area of the world - and a very well run trip. We would highly recommend it.

Nature and History in Mongoliat but still keeping the old way of life - go while

I went to Mongolia on a private tour, staying in Ulan Batam and local get camps in the nature reserves of Kustai, the Oregon Valley and Kharkhorin. The scenery and wildlife were amazing and the opportunity to see nomadic life was fascinating. There is a lot to interest history fans too with Buddhist temples and some very good museums and the people are amongst the friendliest I have met in 30 years’ travel.

Wild Frontiers arranged the trip using a local company to suggest an itinerary based on my interests and provide the guide and driver. I had excellent service from pre- booking through to the holiday itself and can recommend them for their efficiency and also their responsible attitude to tourism.

Wild Frontiers were excellent from start to finish. We are used to using tour operators and also self organising tours, but the number of places we were planning to stay made a tailor made holiday the best option for us on this occasion - I would thoroughly recommend WF, as they were recommended to us.

Rating for tour operator:

Wld Frontiers was great to work with as they collaborated well with us on ideas for our itinerary and then executed it in a way that was efficient in terms of travel and fun in terms of doing it. Even with the time difference from U.S. to U.K., they were quick to respond to questions and make changes when asked.

Great tailormade holiday, as always

This time we used Wild Frontiers to go to Vietnam. Our guides were great. They took us away from the tourist traps to sample local culture and cuisine. This trip included an overnight stay on a junk boat in Halong Bay (only 5 rooms on the junk) and a personal boat in the Mekong Delta with an overnight stay moored in a really remote area - the crew of 4 were perfect. The history, the culture, the street food, the scenery - a top class country for a holiday.

Rating for tour operator:

This is the 5th time we have used Wild Frontiers. Their attentiveness in the booking process really pays off as you get exactly the holiday you wanted. They consistently partner with great local agents and guides. We have never had anything other than a top class experience with Wild Frontiers.

Regal Rajasthan

A three week personal tour around Rajasthan for two 70 plus travellers with no previous experience of India. We had an excellent itinerary, an outstanding driver, and knowledgeable and helpful guides provided at each stage. There are too many highlights to list but we saw a cross section of what this part of India has to offer.
