We visited Trapezaki in Kefalonia. We rented a two bedroomed villa, part of a small development of eight or nine properties, it was very quiet and very private, the villas did not overlook each other. We could walk to a few (very good) places to eat, but car hire is recommended, especially as Kefalonia is a reasonable size and a fun place to explore, driving felt very safe, a few nutty taxis - but where don't you get them! Late September is perfect, quiet but temperature still high 20s at least, if you travel much later you have to expect some bars and restaurants to be closing as autumn gets closer.

Islands of Greece, Visions Group were excellent (again) they simply listen to what you want, find it and make all the arrangements. The next question about how likely is it that you would recommend to a friend - we already have done!

We flew into Port Elizabeth , picked up our hire car and drove out to Shamwari for 3 nights. We then did The Garden Route stopping at the amazing Tsala Treetops in Plettenburg Bay, Views in Wilderness, Whale Rock In Hermanus where we were so lucky to see whales from the shore, then onto Cape Town for 3 nights.

From start to finish our trip was perfect, the only dissapointment was having to come home. Grant planned the perfect itinerary for us starting with a safari at Shamwari and ending in Cape Town. Everything was organised for us including special meals out & excursions. I cannot recommend Grant enough, we will most defintely need to return to see what else South Africa has to offer.

My partner & I have just returned from our trip to Koufonisia and Iraklia. The recommendations suggested by Visions holiday for both these islands, based on our initial holiday criteria was absolutely excellent. We loved them both and it felt as though we had been transported back in time to the wonderful authentic Greek Islands of days gone by. All the accommodation was first class and certainly came up to our expectations. It was exactly what we wanted and we would give all the hotels a five star rating. The transfers between flights & ferries were all arranged for us and made our transitions seamless. Alan, the travel agent at Visions Holiday group even provided his own personal tips and advice having previously visited these islands himself. This was exceptionally helpfully and added extra value & enjoyment to our travels. We have already recommended Visions travel company to several people and will most definitely be coming back to book up for a similar island hopping holiday again next year. The booking process and bespoke attention to detail by Visions Travel made sure that we had a wonderful holiday. We would thoroughly recommend this company.

The service that we received from Visions Holidays Group (Islands of Greece) was exemplary. Alan and the team were extremely helpful and the support and organisation that we received were flawless. Our holiday ran incredibly smoothly and enabled us to relax into our holiday without worrying about anything.

We had a week on Paros, followed by a week on Naxos, in two beautiful hotels. There were two connecting flights via Athens, plus a ferry transit to organise.

Alan and the team at Islands of Greece were incredibly resourceful and helpful. They were impressively knowledgable about the flights, ferries, resorts, beaches, hotels. In short, all the important stuff. And all the small stuff too, like which shops and restaurants to go to. They couldn't have been more enthusiastic. I would certainly entrust them with planning my next holiday.

Alan completely understood our holiday requirements and he and his team surpassed our expectations. Holiday destination, Ithaca, was idyllic, Hotel Perantzada was beautiful, transfers were seamless, all personnel involved displayed utmost professionalism and extended excellent customer service. We couldn't have been happier and the welcoming bottle of wine provided by Alan and the team was much appreciated! We will definitely be returning to this island and would thoroughly recommend using Visions to plan your next trip.

We flew to Athens where we spent.one night before ferry transfers to Syros (Ermoupoli) for 3 nights, Tinos (Porto) for 7 nights, Andros (Andros Town) for 6 nights, Kythnos (Loutra) for 8 nights and Syros (Kini) for 5 nights. The accommodation was excellent with amazing hospitality: Apollion Palace, Porto Raphael, Micra Anglia, Porto Klaras and Pino di Loto. The whole experience exceeded our expectations.

Hassle free holiday. Taxi driver waiting for me at the airport, lovely central hotel, great room and breakfast and friendly, helpful staff. A great first trip after lockdown.

Very helpful booking what I wanted and answering any queries

Our holiday encompassed stays in Istanbul before flying to and staying in Cape Town before picking up a hire car be to drive the Garden Route with stops along the way where the accommodation was some of the best we have ever stayed in. We finished our S. Africa trip with a fantastic 3 nights at Kariega Game Reserve before flying out to Mauritius to end the holiday. This is when we really needed help as my wifes's father was then taken seriously ill back in the UK. We contacted our travel agents (Carrick Travel) back home to see if there was any chance of transferring our flights home to an earlier date. Visions then organised everything for us moving our flights and hotel transfers within the day so that we could get home at the earliest opportunity available, with their help my wife was able to get home in time to see her father before he sadly passed away the following day. We could not praise Visions of Africa, our UK travel agent and Mautourco in Mauritius highly enough for working together so efficiently to help us in our hour of need. Thank you

They booked us top class accommodation at reasonable prices, and the whole holiday from Istanbul to S. Africa to Mauritius which included 6 flights and many airport/hotel transfers went without a hitch, including a very warm welcome from a Visions Rep at Cape Town airport where we were handed a pack of information (in a very nice bag) before being transferred to our hotel.

First of all, can we say many many thanks for arranging such a wonderful, memorable and well organised and documented holiday for us........as testified by our photographs !. As you know, it was quite a busy itinerary with different components that had to work seamlessly and timely - which they did ! Flights All on time with both BA and SAA giving excellent service Hotels The choice of hotels was first class - they were absolutely fantastic. The rooms and the staff were amazing in every case. We felt very special at every location. In hindsight we should have spent an extra day at Mont Rochelle in Frankschoek and a day less at the 12 Apostles near Camps Bay as it was far more restful than the 12A. Food was unbelievable and thoroughly appetising everywhere - portions were very healthy but sometimes challenging especially as we did not want to waste it ! Victoria Falls walking tour and Sunset Cruise Absolutely mesmerising and perfect . can only say WOW ! Would not have missed them for anything. Would love to go back when less water is cascading over the Falls to see it in a different way. We got absolutely soaked in spite of the showerproof ponchos - everything from underclothes to shoes making it difficult to take some pics as the spray was so heavy. Worth warning people about this possibility ! Soon dried out back at the hotel so no problem for us. Blue Train What can we say - it lived up to expectations and beyond. What an experience with the highlight of the Kimberly mine visit with an excellent guide. Transfers Really incredible with lovely drivers and immaculate cars - well done for using this company and to Jarat. Full Day Cape Town Tour A really great day tour with the lovely guide Wilma - very informative and good fun. In spite of the poor wet weather at the start of the day and a bad traffic queue the day was fantastic. Everywhere was covered and the day crowned with the Table Top Mountain visit which was unbelievable Finally, and once again, so may thanks for organising our holiday and it was a pleasure dealing with you throughout the entire process from our initial telephone call and through the various emails and Whats Apps ......it was very reassuring for us both to know that we were dealing with a travel professional who had our interests at heart throughout. We hope you continue to successfully arrange other holidays for other lucky travellers, and we have no hesitation in recommending you and the Visions Group Holiday to others - as we have already done.
