The Great Glen Delivered!

A truly fabulous week on Scottish waters with an amazing guide (Emy McLeod) who has a complete thirst for the outdoors. The scenery was truly amazing with majestic mountains and Ospreys flying above. We paddled through all types of conditions which enriched the whole experience. Reaching the end of Loch Ness certainly felt like a hard earned achievement and the Dram tasted all the better for it!

Faultless. Nothing too much trouble. . A friend had to return to England urgently and this was arranged seamlessly with no fuss and was hugely appreciated. A very accessible and easy to use website with full information and itinerary on the trip. The guide was outstanding

Wilderness Scotland took me out of my comfort zone and brought me back again

Canoeing the Great Glen Trail was a brilliant experience. Our group ranged in age from 30s to 80s. We gelled round the campfire on Day 1 and never looked back. Our guides were as described: curious, calm, creative and easy-going, mischievous, patient (respectively). They managed to keep us on schedule without any aspect feeling like a rush. The food they produced and cooked was excellent and their decision making was spot on. The good kit provided ...

Prior to our trip, Wilderness Scotland kept us informed of guide changes when necessary. They were always willing to chat on the phone and sort out any queries that we had.

We had fun, loved the canoeing and improved our skills and knowledge

The Leaders were excellent, encouraging, supportive, clear and fun. the group size was good, the tents anda teepee were good quality, the food was amazing. As well as being fun, and at times exciting and demanding, the trip has encouraged us with our canoeing skills and we would like to do more. We would definitely book with Wilderness Scotland again.

Watching the beautiful world of Scotland float by

We were canoeing the great glen canal and passed through several lochs along the way, one of them being Loch Ness. Imagine Loch Ness on a misty morning and imagine the beautiful landscape of Scotland floating by as you paddle along in your canoe together with your team mates. There is nothing like it! It's a trip that brings you back to what really matters; living in the moment.
