Wonderful varied trails through the hills Istria, Croatia. Varied scenery through woods, meadows and finally the coast. Beautiful place to walk with lovely accommodation en route that was always a 'non-touristy' option with lovely hosts. Very much recommended.

Very personable - called the day before we left to wish us a happy holiday! Very quick to respond to any queries and went above and beyond what would be expected. Even after the holiday had finished, they organised people to help find and return an item my mother had accidentally left behind

We spent a week walking through the hilltop villages of Istria, finishing at the Adriatic coast.

On Foot Holidays' thoroughness and reliability were outstanding, their walk directions were brilliant, and (and this is perhaps rarest of all) their grammar and spelling impeccable. They were friendly and approachable, and they clearly have detailed local knowledge.

The accommodation each night was unique and special. This combined with panoramic views of a peaceful world and a professional set of walking instructions made this a superb holiday. It is truly a different country as it is thickly wooded with its abandoned hilltop villages being carefully restored.Last but not least our hosts were truly welcoming and friendly.

Full marks. Everything was done in a professional manner and went like clockwork. Taxis appeared on time - accommodation was better than expected and they are a nice bunch.

Four of us went on a walking holiday to Croatia and we all said that it was one of the best holidays that we have had. We were able to walk through parts of Istria that you would not have seen even on a touring holiday, everywhere was very picturesque and all the locals were very welcoming.

On Foot Holidays organised everything for us and everything went without a hitch. After booking it they were able to put back the holiday by a day after Ryanair changed the departure time of the flight to Trieste which made it impossible to set off on the walk the next day. Vlado, their local representative, was very helpful throughout the walking holiday.

A wonderful varied walk through the Istrian Peninsular staying in simple places where we really felt we got a true picture of the countryside. We walked from 4 - 6 hours each day on good tracks, some of which we believed to date back to the medieval time when the towns we visited were built. We walked through vineyards and sampled the local wine, ate delicious Istrian ham and ended the walk at the coast in a lovely small seaside town, and swimming in the Adriatic.

The organisation and information provided by On Foot Holidays was superb. Their walking notes were excellent, clear and accurate.we were also provided with a book of information about transport arrangements, accommodation, contact telephone numbers and so much more including advice on what to tip taxi drivers etc and also a very good brief history of the country.

A walk from Motovun to the coast at Moscenicka Draga. One of the slightly harder walks available from On Foot Holidays. Wonderful countryside and hospitality, with a very relaxing end at Moscenicka Draga.

On Foot Holidays have always been good, over a period of several years. They are efficient and courteous, both via email, phone and in person. They have been very accomodating with our changing requirements (we had two operators for this holidy and so we made a quite a few changes to align the different parts). Will be booking with them again no doubt.

Excellent walks in unspoilt countryside. Good value accommodation, hosted by really nice people. Very relaxing.

A 10 days birthday - walk- and- sea- holiday! A success, from the very planning, to every detail, as where to stay, and to go, even the weather! Alle the 8 of us, aged 18 to 65, where happy about the beautiful country, the food, the walks, and the rooms for the night- . We walked towards east and the last day of our walk descended 1000 meters down to the Adriatic sea, to Moscenica Draga. Where we had a few wonderful days

We have used On Foot Holiday twice, and both times with the same experience: They can be trusted! Everything promised is fullfilled. Very quick and nice response, whenever contacted. All very well planned, to the smallest details. Very well choosen places to stay, people to cooperate with. A safe and obvious choice, when you want a "slow travel self-guided walking holiday in an unspoilt Europe". We will do it again!

We walked from Motovun to Moscenicka Draga, with our luggage being transferred between accommodation booked by our operator. We walked on our own through gorgeous scenery, following directions provided.

OnFoot were very courteous and helpful, and provided excellent service, both from the base office and the local agent.
